About Us

Swift Studio started long before it had a name. It started with rails of pre-loved clothes and hours spent searching for pieces that caught my eye. Sometimes it was the fabric or shape. Other times it was a simple piece that I could see potential in. A process that involved cutting, reworking and giving them a new direction.

Swift Studio is an extension of my own style and the way I see fashion. I wanted to create something that felt true to me and gave me the freedom to explore ideas, experiment with clothing and build something that feels exiting to be apart of.

Every piece is designed, cut, sewn and packed in our UK studio. It’s where those ideas come to life and where each collection takes shape. The aesthetic is instinctive, inspired by festival style and vintage pieces with a modern feel. Clothes that feel effortless but still make a statement. Every drop is limited, and every piece is inherently unique. Swift Studio is personal. It always has been. Made to rework the past into something that feels entirely your own.

Our approach to sustainability

The fashion industry produces an estimated 92 million tonnes of textile waste each year, with a significant amount ending up in landfill or incineration. Alongside this, the continuous demand for new materials places pressure on natural resources, from water usage in cotton production to the environmental cost of synthetic fibres. Swift Studio is built around what already exists. Rather than creating from new textiles, the materials are deconstructed and rebuilt, reshaped into new forms that extend their lifecycle and reduce reliance on new production.By working with upcycled materials, we reduce textile waste in a more intentional way. Each garment diverts fabric from disposal and gives it a new life in your wardrobe. We produce in small batches, guided by what can be made rather than projected demand. This allows us to avoid overproduction which is one of the largest contributors to waste in the fashion industry. All pieces are made in-house in our UK studio, reducing the need for large-scale manufacturing and long supply chains. We don’t claim to be perfect, but we chose to work in a way that is slower, more transparent, and more responsible while creating pieces with longevity, both in quality and design.

It’s a space where everything comes together, from sourcing and early ideas to the final stages of making. Working this way keeps the process close, allowing each piece to be developed, adjusted, and refined as it takes shape. Nothing moves on until it feels right. Each garment is worked on individually, with time and attention given to the details that define it. The result is a more considered way of making. One where the journey matters just as much as the finished piece.

Fabrics & Materials

We source pre – loved garments and reclaimed fabrics, selecting materials based on their quality, texture, and potential to be reworked. The original piece is always part of the story. Sometimes it’s the fabric that inspires the design. Sometimes it’s a small detail that changes everything. Nothing is left as it was. Pieces are cut into, reworked, and rebuilt, often more than once until they feel right. It’s a process of experimenting, refining, and turning something familiar into something unexpected. Upcycling also means that no two pieces are identical. Variations in fabric, texture and finish are natural and part of the process as-well as being a reflection on the garments previous life.
